November Prayer Focus

Pray for CPC's expectant mothers and their little ones.
PLEASE PRAY   CPC humbly requests your intentional prayer for:

VOLUNTEERS   CPC relies heavily on our dedicated volunteers. God uses them in powerful ways, and they have such a significant impact on ministry. Please pray for our volunteers and their families who are currently walking through painful situations, that they may experience peace and restoration according to His perfect plan.

SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE   As we prepare to recognize the value and sanctity of human life in January, please pray for boldness within the local church. Pray for churches to celebrate life, express conviction for the least of these (Matthew 25), biblically address the topic of abortion, and extend the grace of Jesus Christ to those who have experienced abortion.

PRAY FOR CPC’S EXPECTANT MOTHERS AND THEIR LITTLE ONES.   Their names* and due dates are listed below.

Seasons of LifeChange

Last year when Toby approached his friends at Marrick about CPC Christmas Trees, not only did Mark Whitlow and Rick Montrose agree to build the prototype, they paid for the materials and built the first 35 trees – thank you for this tremendous gift! Special thanks to Tony Tillman for helping design the CPC Christmas Tree prototype.

Creativity abounded as many churches and organizations chose to paint and decorate their CPC Christmas Trees to fit the season! (Deep Creek Baptist Church tree pictured, more photos available on Facebook)

Did you know? LifeChange is one of the easiest ways your church or group can help give the gift of LIFE. Baby bottles are perfect to incorporate into every time of year! Your change really can change lives ... one penny, dime or quarter at a time!

It’s not too early -- reserve your church’s CPC Christmas Tree today! Call Alexis at 757.410.9703 to learn more.

Volunteer Spotlight: Iris Robinson

Iris Robinson, thank you for your volunteer service at Crisis Pregnancy Center of Tidewater!
• Volunteer since 2012

• Serves in Chesapeake as Administrative Receptionist

• Attends Ebenezer Baptist Church

Iris Robinson is a dependable servant who exemplifies poise, grace and excellence. CPC’s President Toby DeBause remarks, “If I see Iris, I know it’s Friday.” Because of the excellence and quality she brings to the position, CPC’s admin staff does not hesitate to request her help in training new receptionists.
Iris is here to help in whatever way she can, with no need for fanfare or recognition. She has a knack for seeing a need before it has been spoken and taking whatever steps are necessary to handle it. In addition to her positive attitude, she encourages those around her by the constant, quiet prayers and Scripture reading she does when work is slow. Iris, you have been an enormous blessing to the ministry of CPC — we are grateful for your service and keep you in prayer!

If you are interested in joining CPC's volunteer network, register to attend CPC 101 on November 6! Connect with our volunteer manager, Lisa, at lisa@cpcot.org or www.cpcfriends.org/volunteer for more details.
