October Prayer Focus

PLEASE PRAY   CPC humbly requests your intentional prayer for:

CASTING OUT FEAR   Even when clients see their baby and choose life in our medical clinics, they often leave facing the same fears that drove them to consider abortion in the first place. Pray these precious women will stay strong in their decision.

GREAT EXPECTATIONS   Our Great Expectations prenatal care and parenting classes are a wonderful opportunity to educate and encourage families while also modeling and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Please lift up these new mothers and fathers, that they will learn skills to care for their children and continue seeking gospel truth in their lives.

RESOURCES NEEDED   CPC’s Annual Benefit Banquet is vital to providing the necessary financial resources to continue the efforts of the ministry of CPC. As this event approaches, please pray for new people to get involved, God to be glorified, and LIFE to be lifted up.

September Prayer Focus

PLEASE PRAY   CPC humbly requests your intentional prayer for:

NOT GROWING WEARY   As we rejoice in the number of abortions in South Hampton Roads once again decreasing in record numbers, pray for our community to resist growing weary or complacent (Galatians 6:9, Proverbs 1:32). As the numbers go down, we have also noticed it is more difficult to reach the women considering abortion. Please pray that we could reach and serve more women and families who are at risk for abortion.

PRAYER   Prayer is a mystery, but it’s also an expectation from God. What an honor that our Maker cares to hear from us! Please pray for believers in South Hampton Roads to join forces in prayer for LIFE. God is moving through the ministry of CPC, and we're eager to join forces with His people in prayer. 

One family shared they are excited to set their alarm for 2 a.m. to bring their children and come pray as a family unit for a cause dear to their hearts (and then enjoy a special pancake meal out afterwards - yum!). We are looking forward to seeing the creative ways God will inspire prayer!

August Prayer Focus

PRAYER GATHERING FOR LIFE   Pray for an outpouring of participation from our community during CPC’s 24 Hour Prayer Gathering for LIFE on Sept. 12-13. God calls us to this simple action – we must respond. We depend on our Heavenly Father to push back the darkness, and we pray He will raise up a movement for LIFE. VOLUNTEERS   Please pray for the 400+ dedicated volunteers who serve the ministry of CPC. We are grateful God has stirred their hearts, and we pray He will continue to use them to make great things happen for moms and their pre-born babies!
